A pro hero who works as an English teacher at U.A. High School. In the story, he plays the role of “setting the scene,” handling situation summaries and live commentary, making him a lubricating presence for the story’s progress.
He and Shota Aizawa (Eraser Head), who is also a U.A. High School teacher, have been classmates since high school and continue to be connected by a deep bond of trust.
Although the two have contrasting personalities, their relationship of complementing each other’s shortcomings is often depicted in the story. In particular, the fact that Mic named Aizawa’s hero name “Eraser Head” is an episode that symbolizes the closeness of the two.
Present Mic also has a face as a radio DJ, and is in charge of the program “Put Your Hands Up Radio,” which is broadcast from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM.
