He is Izuku Midoriya’s childhood friend and a constant source of motivation as his rival. With a bossy attitude since childhood, his emotional expressions are straightforward and intense, often causing those around him to be swayed. He passed the U.A. High School hero course at the top of his class, possessing almost all the qualities necessary for a hero, such as intelligence, physical strength, and combat ability (except for popularity).
At the beginning of the series, he caused many disturbances with his dangerous remarks and short-tempered behavior, often sparking controversy in the story. However, as he faces his relationships with his comrades and his own limits, his gradual growth into a full-fledged hero exudes a presence comparable to that of the protagonist.
Throughout the story, he is not merely portrayed as a rival of the “bad boy type,” but also as a character who plays a central role in the growth story alongside the protagonist. In the latter half of the story, he reflects on his past rough behavior and begins to show calm and accurate actions, understanding what he should do.

Famous lines
“Believe you’ll be born with a Quirk in the next life and take a one-chance dive from the rooftop!!”
These words were directed at the Quirkless Deku, clearly crossing a line that should not be crossed. It’s an unforgettable past statement, but please forgive him because he reflected on it and properly apologized afterwards.
